On May 16th afternoon at 4:20pm the MTFR was dispatched to the 2800 block of River Road for an MVA with wires down on a vehicle. MTFR crews arrived on scene and found a tree had fallen onto River Road and struck two occupied vehicles while they were in motion. Crews assessed the scene and checked on both vehicles, confirming no injuries. The roadway was closed while Met-Ed secured power and made repairs. We were assisted by the Muhlenberg Township Police Department and Muhlenberg Township Public Works Department.
