Last night, the members of the MTFR and assisting companies were dispatched to the 5000 block of Kutztown Rd for a reported structure fire. Crews arrived and found fire to the rear of the house. E66 went in service. It was initially thought there was fire in the basement but found it was mainly contained to the outside of the property.
While we were committed on this fire, there was a reported 2nd fire on Spring Valley Rd. Units that were responding to the Kutztown Rd fire were redirected to this fire. Units found outside trash on fire. This fire was quickly contained.
