Firefighter Paige Reinhart has recently completed her 10 week Army SIT (Soldier in Training) at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. Pvt Paige Reinhart has successfully completed the (3) phases including the Army Physical Fitness Test, Advanced Rifle Marksmanship, 10 & 15km tactical foot marches, weapons training, rappelling tower, Warrior Tower, Army Values, ethics and traditions, culminating with a 212 task end of cycle field test.
Paige is currently in her 15 week AIT (Advanced Individual Training) at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, Texas. This is the Department of Defense Fire Academy where all branches of the Military train candidates in 12M program where they will train and successfully complete instruction in Emergency Medical Response / Fundamentals of Firefighting / Firefighting Principals / Structural Firefighting / Aircraft Fire rescue / Hazardous Material emergencies. Completion of this program will gain Pro-Board Certification in EMR / Firefighter II / Haz-Mat OPS / CPR / Airport Firefighter / Marine Firefighter / D/O Pumper / D/O Aircraft Rescue Firefighting / D/O Aerial / D/O Mobile Water Supply / D/O Wildland Firefighting.
After completion / graduation from the Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy, Pvt. Reinhart will continue her 6 year commitment to the Pennsylvania National Guard MOS (Military Occupation Specialty) 12M Firefighter based at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA where she will perform firefighting / EMS / Haz-Mat / Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting / Inspections on base and surrounding communities.
Paige also intends to start her collegiate education in the Fall of 2022 at PSU-Berks campus with an undetermined major.
