Yesterday at approximately 4:25pm the MTFR was dispatched to the area of Kutztown Road and Jefferson Street in Muhlenberg Township for motor vehicle accident with fire. Fire units arrived on scene and found a two vehicle accident, one vehicle vs. a parked car, fire was extinguished prior to our arrival by bystanders. Crews evaluated the scene and mitigated fluids and debris. We were assisted by Muhlenberg Township Police Department and Muhlenberg Ambulance. The MTFR was on scene for approximately 45 minutes until Weaver’s Towing Co., Inc. removed the vehicles.
