On August 2nd, our day started around 0600 and didn’t end till around 1900 hours as 6+ inches of rain pounded Muhlenberg Twp causing steams to flood over causing very dangerous road conditions as numerous vehicles became stranded in the water requiring assistance to get the occupants to safety. Also with this numerous homes were flooded with up to 7 feet of water. Our volunteers worked very hard throughout the day being away from their own homes and families.
Station 18 responded out and gave us a hand with the estimated 63 calls we answered. Thanks for your assistance.
