Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a poisonous, colorless, odorless, and tastless gas which can cause health issues and even death at elevated levels. It is important to ensure CO detectors are present in structures, such as your home, where combustion takes place in common household items such as but not limited to; furnaces, fireplaces, vehicles, grills, stoves, etc. When these items malfunction or are left on, such as a vehicle in a closed garage, an excessive or unwanted amount of CO can be produced in your home causing health issues or death.
